Situation
Shindler, Anderson, Goplerud & Weese P.C. was looking for a new website that could reflect who they are, help them stand out, and bring in more business.
Happy Medium started by facilitating a workshop to align SAGW Law on a new vision for the website. We found a way to help them play to their strengths and bring their online presence on par with modern expectations. With a clear direction, we put together a new website with custom art, better bios, and an easier pathway to leads.
Our Approach
Feelings, not Photos
To help SAGW Law stand out from the competition we leveraged editorial style illustrations to convey their practice areas instead of photos. Through visual metaphors, we were able to convey a keen sense of empathy for the situations their clients were in. An approach that helped them stand apart from the stock photo laden sites of their competitors.
Real Bios of Real People
Bios for lawyers are often just re-hashings of their resumes. We went deeper with their attorneys and added a sense of storytelling to their bios to help their audience connect with them. A bio of a person rather than a stack of credentials is a little easier for most people to put their trust in.
Up to Code
We made numerous improvements to the design and code of the website to improve the user experience. We set them up with smoother navigation, better mobile optimization, easier readability, and better performance. All of which help their audience find the things they’re looking for, and all built on our Base Website platform.
By The Numbers
- Our improvements to the SAGW Law website resulted in significant impacts for new users, long time users, and has resulted in more leads.
- 23.6% Increase in average engagement time for new users.
- 39.8% Increase in payment page views.
- 32.6% Increase in form submissions.
Outcome
Through sound strategy, standout design, thoughtful writing, and up-to-date code, SAGW Law has a site that reflects their strengths and more importantly, builds trust with their audience. For attorneys, there’s nothing more critical.
