When you’ve got 10,000 athletes and spectators coming your way, how do you show them a good time? Through social media, obviously. Hashtag IMTDMM.

The 2018 IMT Des Moines Marathon, affectionately known as #IMTDMM, is certainly more than a marathon. Three days of activities, two days of races, and an inaugural Marathon Mile thrown in the mix, and you’ve got yourself a good time. Happy Medium orchestrated social media from April through the live coverage of the October marathon weekend, complemented with the strategic use of digital media to reach client objectives. Truly a gold medal performance.

Outcome

Live social is more than just feet on the street, although we certainly ensured all 26.2 miles of marathon were covered. More than impressions and click-through rate, Happy Medium ensured an incredible client saw incredible results, sharing stories of success, triumph, and soul along the way. We’re eager to go the distance for #IMTDMM in the years to come.
