Kum & Go, a super regional convenience store chain, has partnered with Happy Medium on projects ranging from graphic design to digital media buying. We also manage their social media. When the company decided to launch a new app, they turned to Happy Medium for an online marketing campaign.

…WE REACHED 148% OF KUM & GO’S APP DOWNLOAD GOAL IN THE FIRST MONTH.
To gain interest in the app, Happy Medium ran ads through social media channels. By highlighting coupon deals that were only available through the app, Happy Medium was able to promote the app simultaneously with Kum & Go’s other summer specials, like its cold fountain drinks, Go Big Combo deals, and an in-store scratch-and-win game.
We also put together a comprehensive plan with our media buying and social media departments. Social media posts across Facebook and Twitter were strategically promoted to widen the reach of the campaign. These ads were targeted to both fans and non-fans and included different ads for desktop and mobile devices.
As a result, we reached 148% of Kum & Go’s app download goal in the first month. We were also at 105% of its summer goal for coupon redemptions, and at 135% of its goal for the scratch-and-win game. We did this all in the first 30 days. We love it when our clients have to move the goal posts.
